Linda' notes: Even though Alfie's blood lines are from coursing stock, his grandsire on his sire's line being Laguna Leader who was top coursing dog for 7 years running, he also did very well at the race tracks. Alfie reached his first Ch final at 13 mths old and during his racing career he never failed to reach the finals. His dam, MacArthur Coutier is the litter sister to Mastermind.
He was mated to Magic Trick 2 years ago and we now have two young bitches from him. Hopefully one of them, MacArthur Dream who is owned by Julia Cloke from Bristol, will do well on the coursing scene this winter.
Sadly Alfie is no longer with us, he died in 97 at 8 years old with kidney failure.
