Linda' notes: Joe is the dog pictured in the racing shot on the first page. This is him as a puppy. He is Gracie's litter brother and probably one of the unluckiest of our pups. His bad luck started by being the same weight as his faster litter sister, and so in the important competitions he always came up against her. Having said that Joe won one WCRA Ch. final and a Sporting champ title before his run of bad luck continued when he broke his leg at the Moira Bend Open. After 12 mths and 2 operations Joe did run again but he was never the same dog.
NB : After winnig one WCRA Ch final a dog is known as a coat as it must win two finals to achieve Ch status and receive the Champions jacket.
